Playspace Rules
Don’t be That Person. Don’t be the reason we have to add a new rule.
Remember that the Hotel is not your home Playspace/Dungeon. We want to be invited back. Be courteous.
Follow the guidance of Playspace Monitors (DMs), Medical Staff, the Incident Response Team, and Senior Staff. The Staff works to keep the event safe and fun for all attendees. Do not bother arguing with them about rules.
If you have a question about a scene you would like to do or that you are observing, consult with an on duty DM.
Alcohol and/or food is prohibited in all Playspaces-, period. Individuals bringing alcohol into the Playspace will be escorted out of the space. They may return to the Playspace without the alcohol/food
Intoxicated individuals, or those deemed impaired by the Playspace Monitors or Public Safety Staff will not be allowed in the Playspaces and will be escorted out of the space.
Do not block walkways, exits or other equipment with yourself or your belongings.
DMs are not on duty outside official Playspace hours. Unmonitored play in the Playspace is prohibited. Playspace hours are posted in the program and schedule grid.
All attendees are expected to practice RaCK (Risk aware Consensual Kink). RaCK is a guiding principle of this event.
If the DMs determine that your scene is unsafe, they may choose to end it if safety concerns are related to bondage, a Playspace Monitor may deem it necessary to cut your rope or other bondage equipment.
The house safe word for Stop is "Red".
The house safe word for Caution is "Yellow".
A loudly shouted "Safe word!" or "Dungeon Monitor!" by either the Top or Bottom will be interpreted as a call for outside assistance.
A DM will check in and/or intervene in a scene if the Top is observed to not respond appropriately when either of the House safe words are used.
Please be polite and keep a respectful distance from scenes and Workshops you are not a part of.
Observation areas are not for socializing. While observing, in general we ask you to keep any conversations or comments brief and quiet.
Do not touch other people or their equipment without express consent.
Please use the cleaning supplies provided to thoroughly clean the equipment after you use it before taking aftercare elsewhere. -If you cum, spit, sweat, etc. in your scene, you MUST clean it up.
Bodily fluid contamination that cannot be cleaned up with the provided cleaning supplies MUST be brought to the attention of a DM immediately.
Do not monopolize equipment. Remember that if you want to use it, others do too.
Aftercare should be taken to an area away from your scene space so that others may use the equipment next.
Do not move Playspace Equipment. Please see a DM if you have questions about this or if accessibility modifications are needed.
Use of chains on wood equipment is strictly prohibited.
Do not wear high heels or other footwear with sharp corners on any mats or upholstered furniture. If you damage the equipment, you will be charged to repair or replace it.
Modification or vandalism of any kind to equipment is prohibited and may result in your removal from the event without a refund.
Types of Play Rules
Certain types of play are not allowed or are only allowed with specific caveats at our events. Please check this list before playing to be sure you are not in violation of the rules.
If you have any question about the type of play you wish to engage in, ask the DMs before you begin. This allows them to be aware of the type of scenes being conducted and if it is within the rules.
Examples of types of play that should be discussed with a DM prior to setting up your scene include:
Blades
Wax
Blood/Needles
Medical
Whips
Suspension/Self Suspension
Choking/Breath Play
Play that is prohibited at this event
Firearms
Stun Guns or Tasers
Fireplay
Permanent Marking - Leaving intentional permanent marks is prohibited due to local laws
Watersports, scat, prolapse, and Roman/rainbow
Play involving racial slurs or hate groups is forbidden per the event code of conduct.
If your scene is becoming disruptive, the DMs may make eye contact with the Top and gesture for them to lower the volume. Ignoring the DMs or being unable to see them may result in your scene being interrupted or ended early.
Blades: Knives are of questionable legality in NJ. In light of that, we enforce the following rules.
Bare blades are not permitted outside the Playspace or Workshops.
NJ deems these blades unlawful: dirks, daggers (double edged blades, stilettos, switchblades, gravity knives, ballistic knives, "dangerous knives" and razor blades embedded in wood. Many knife shops consider knives over 3" to be dangerous knives, but NJ does not have an explicit limit length for adults. NJ does not have clear laws about being in non-home private spaces, so you play at your own risk.
NJ deems it unlawful to permanently mark someone.
Any blade is permissible if it is unable to cut.
If DMs see you doing something questionably safe, they will ask you to stop and may stop the scene.
Wax play is allowed IF you get permission from a DM and are using a non flammable heat source for melting the wax. Lit candles are prohibited. You must have a covering for the surface and something to place under the table if used that you then clean up and remove. You will be responsible for any damage to the hotel. We highly suggest you instead use a crockpot to melt the wax.
Play which is expected or likely to result in broken skin is permitted ONLY AFTER acquiring DM approval AND protecting the floor and equipment. This play may be limited to the tarped area of the Playspace.
Sutures, needles, staples, and other sharps may not leave the scene space.
You must provide your own supplies and sharps container.
Participants are expected to thoroughly clean up after play and must notify a DM when finished. The DM must check and approve the cleaning process of the space before you leave the area. Failure to do so may result in loss of dungeon privileges for the remainder of the event.
You should take care while moving back to your room through any public spaces. Be mindful of any active bleeding or other bodily fluids that could contaminate public spaces like halls or elevators.
Sex: We strongly encourage all attendees to practice safer sex. There will be safer sex supplies available in the PlaySpaces and some of the Workshop Spaces Appropriate coverings for the surfaces underneath you are required (chux, stretcher sheet, etc.). The scene space must be thoroughly cleaned using the provided supplies BEFORE aftercare.
It is your responsibility to avoid knowingly contaminating equipment, furniture, floors, walls, ceilings and any other surfaces not directly involved in your scene
-i.e., don’t finger someone with a bare hand, then proceed to touch equipment, furniture, floors, walls, ceilings or any other surfaces. Be respectful of the space
-If you cum, spit, sweat, etc. in your scene, you MUST clean it up.
Bodily fluids dripping throughout the Dungeon and public areas is not allowed
Do not have more than one person on a massage table at a time. They are not built to support multiple people. If you break it, you will be charged to replace it.
Whips must check with the DM and are space dependent.
Suspension is allowed IF you check in with DMs prior AND if you have safety shears. If limbs start changing colors, you will be asked to change or terminate the scene.
Self-suspension is only allowed if you have a spotter
Neck Ropes: Play with neck ropes which constrict the front of the throat are NOT allowed. Back of neck ropes are permitted
Inverted suspensions or those which may result in inversion must use a mat.
Bondage scenes MUST have safety shears in view of DMs. You must be able to be easily released in any tie or while being connected to the equipment in the case of an emergency. This means nothing with keys or pins that take time to release, you must have rope "safety" sheers, and/or quick-release cuffs are highly encouraged.
Breath Play and Choking are edgeplay that may be permissible with prior negotiation and checking in with the DMs.
The Event reserves the right to add, remove, change, or modify any rules at any time, with or without notice. Do not be the reason we need to do this.
The Head DM has the final say in all matters concerning the Playspaces, although they may (at their own discretion or at the request of the Event Coordinator) take certain matters to the Event Coordinator. Arguing with the on duty DMs about their decisions will result in your immediate removal from all Playspace and possibly the Event itself, without refund. Repeated violations of Event rules will result in your removal from the event without a refund.
If you have any issues we can help you with, please feel free to let us know by alerting either a Senior Event Staff member, a DM or by coming to the Public Safety Room. We ask that any directives issued by the Senior Staff be followed without question or discussion. Failure to comply with the Head DM’s decisions will result in your immediate removal from all Playspace and possibly the Event itself, without refund.

Photography rules:
By attending the event you acknowledge there is a possibility you may be photographed/captured in video. While TG works hard to ensure your privacy, we cannot guarantee you will not be photographed, given the prevalence of cameras in all types of electronic devices. That being said, here are the photography rules:
For privacy and safety of all of our attendees (including yourself), you must have the explicit permission of all people in any photograph including those in the background.
Blurring faces are not acceptable substitutes for consent
We highly suggest video recording only in your hotel room due to an increased concern in videos capturing people without their consent
-Photography and/or audio/video recording is strictly forbidden in the Dungeon Spaces, except during the designated Photography Hours
Photography and/or audio/video recording is strictly forbidden in Workshops and performances unless you have obtained prior, explicit permission from both the presenter and all participants in the Workshop or performance
By attending this event you agree to allow Senior Event Staff (specifically Coordination, Event Monitors, and Dungeon Monitors) to examine your device for unauthorized photographs and/or audio/video files upon request, without objection or hassle if suspected of violating these rules. Don’t want this? Leave your phone in your room.
Unauthorized photos and recordings will be deleted from your device and any cloud back ups, and you will be reminded of the Photography and Device Usage policy.
Refusing to allow Senior Event Staff to examine your device will result in your immediate removal from the event without refund and possibly banning from all future TG events.
This policy may be overridden or altered by event-specific circumstances, so please follow the instructions of the staff
Out of common courtesy we ask that if you must talk on your cell phone, you do not use it in any public areas such as the Playspaces, workshops, poolside, restaurant, HQ, etc.
Photography and/or audio/video recording of those who have not given explicit permission is not allowed, and will result in immediate removal from the event without refund and erasure of said media and possible banning from all future TG events. TG adheres to an Opt-in philosophy.
We provide painters tape to cover your camera so no accidental photography occurs. Please ask if you would like some. Please respect others' right to consent to their privacy. We also have wristbands if you would like to wear one. Ask Check-in for a wristband.
Green wristband- you can ask me for my consent to photograph/video. You must receive my explicit consent in order to capture me
Red wristband- I do not consent to photography at all, do not approach me to ask. If you accidentally capture me, you MUST immediately delete the photo and you understand you risk being removed from the event
We will be taking violations of this rule set very seriously.
